When Hikari's Pochama runs into a forest, another Hikari from an alternate universe takes Pochama with her. Hikari informs Satoshi, Go and Koharu about the incident, and the trio travel to Sinnoh to meet up with her. Suddenly, Rocket Dan from another universe capture Lucario and Intereon and disappears, with Go and Hikari following them into the alternate world. Go and Hikari meet the alternate Hikari, who explains that Pokémon in her world have been devolving and turning into eggs. Satoshi and Koharu realize that Palkia could be involved with the mysterious events. They head to a library for more information on Palkia and meet Shirona.
