Following Dot completing her Terastal Training in Levincia, she, Liko, and Roy head to a river to do a report on wild Pokémon. To help them, Dot pulls out Friede’s Pokémon distribution map. Liko wants to tell the Rising Volt Tacklers about the report, and Roy would like to get some battles in too. The kids decide to set up camp where they are. While it takes time for Liko to get her tent ready, Roy is already done with his since he's used this kind of thing. As the rope dangles in Liko's hand, Floragato gets mesmerized by it and grabs it, knocking Liko and her tent over. Dot places her tent by a large flat rock so she can have a good work station.
