Meanwhile, Liko, Roy, and Dot continue their journey back towards Naranja Academy. While Dot complains that she’s thoroughly exhausted, Ann suddenly catches up with them, also on her way back to the academy after passing her test. She’s surprised to notice that Hatenna and Wattrel have evolved, and also spots Terapagos peeking out of Liko’s bag. Before Liko can explain about Terapagos, Dot collapses and complains that she can go no further, so Roy suggests a and snack break. They do so, with Liko taking the time to reveal to Ann how Terapagos used to be the pendant she had previously shown to her. Ann is also excited by the concept of traveling around in an airship, though Liko admits that they’ve still got ways to go, as there is a faraway place where Terapagos wishes to go to, which is why they’re taking the Terastal Training course. Ann notes how Liko has grown much more confident and asks Roy and Dot to be her friends too. They accept, though the socially awkward Dot does so reluctantly. While Ann declares that she’ll give it her all at the Pokémon League, Liko receives a phone call from Friede, who asks how she and Roy are doing and if they too saw a pink haze when encountering Lucius’s Lapras and Galarian Moltres. Liko and Roy confirm this to be true, with Liko mentioning how she also saw the same thing with Arboliva. Having confirmed what he wanted to know, Friede wishes Liko and Roy good luck on their Terastal Training and ends the call.
